Protest Trucks Target BTS In Their Homes, Create Even More Tension For Fans

As of August 16, 2024 (KST), protest trucks calling for BTS Suga‘s withdrawal from the group—for his DUI case—have begun roaming the streets of Seoul.

And the pictures showing the trucks idling in front of the apartment complex has since created even more tension for the divided fandom.

Two trucks, following two different routes from HYBE, have been spotted idling at their stops—including one in front of NINE ONE HANNAM, the prestigious apartment complex where Suga took a tumble off his electric scooterand where multiple BTS members reside.

Across several posts shared to online communities like theqoo and Nate Pann, as well as social media platforms like X (former Twitter), the discussion remains intense over whether the trucks are “deserved” or “inconvenient” or even “too hateful.”
