On the YouTube entertainment show ‘Let’s Eat Breakfast 2’ released on the 20th, Ah-oh-yi appeared and said about the reason she decided to get a divorce, “It’s because my partner (Seo Joo-won) found someone new. That person really wanted (a divorce).”
YouTuber Ah-oh-yi (real name Kim Min-young) revealed her feelings about losing the infidelity lawsuit she filed against her ex-husband, race car driver Seo Ju-won (30), and his lover.
Previously, after the divorce, Ah-oh-yi filed a lawsuit for damages against Seo Joo-won’s lover A, claiming that Seo Joo-won had an affair during their marriage, but lost the case in April. The 3rd Family Division of the Daegu Family Court dismissed Ah-oh-yi’s lawsuit for damages against A, and ruled that the plaintiff should bear the legal costs. Since Ah-oh-yi did not appeal, the ruling was finalized.
Regarding losing the adultery suit, he said, “I thought I would win, of course. But there is something called the ‘point of breakdown of marriage.’ That friend filed for divorce and left home in April, and he started meeting a new woman in January. He claimed that we met as friends from January to April.” He continued, “From my perspective, I thought, ‘If they met without me knowing, isn’t that wrong?’ But the court needed clear evidence. Something like having a meal together wasn’t enough.” He added, “They needed strong evidence, and that strong evidence was discovered later.”
Regarding this lawsuit, Ah-oh-yi said, “Those friends may have felt wronged as well,” and “Lawsuits are too hard. Since I lost, I was able to settle it quickly without appealing. In some ways, it’s fortunate.”
Ah-oh-yi said, “It cost more to break up than to get married,” and “The other party demanded a large division of assets. To be honest, I was of the opinion that I could never give them that much.” She continued, “The division of assets is about dividing each party’s assets, but when I was the only one with assets, the other party demanded half,” and “When I refused that demand, [the divorce process] took a little longer.”
Seo Ju-won said, “How long are you going to mention me? This victim cosplay is really disgusting now,” and “The lawsuit is over and you’ve lost. Stop it now. I have a lot to solve too.” He added, “I will sue all those who make false comments without any leniency.”
Ah-oh-yi married Seo Joo-won, who appeared on Channel A’s ‘Heart Signal’ and became a hot topic, in 2018, but divorced by mutual consent in October 2022. Even after the divorce, the two continued to argue about the reason for the divorce through social media.
A day after this video was released, on the 21st, her ex-husband Seo Joo-won posted a message criticizing Ah-oh-yi on his Instagram.
Last February, Seo Joo-won appeared on a YouTube channel and admitted to having met another woman while married, but said, “It was wrong to meet a woman before getting a divorce, but infidelity or cheating is not grounds for divorce. We divorced due to personality differences.” Not long after, Ah-oh-yi appeared on the same YouTube channel and revealed all the recordings and photos that made him suspect the infidelity, saying, “He had ongoing issues with women since the beginning of our marriage, and I thought he might have taken it lightly because I forgave him too easily.”
